Know What Triggers An OSHA Inspection and How to Manage and Comply

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), there were approximately 500 recordable illnesses in the dentistry industry. The healthcare practitioner industry, which includes doctors’ offices, experienced approximately 200 recordable illnesses. Although it is unknown how many of these illnesses are from blood borne illnesses, just the patient’s cost of medication for treating such illnesses can range from $8,000/year for Hep-B to $25,000/year for HIV. The average OSHA penalty in a dentist or physician office inspection is consistent at approximately $4,000.

This webinar by healthcare experts Gabe Sierra and David Ippolito, will provide awareness on what triggers an OSHA inspection; how to manage an inspection; and how to understand and comply with the OSHA requirements. They will also share OSHA data for dentists in the physician office industry.
