Starting October 1st, providers and their offices must learn about and incorporate new ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes into their work flow. Knowing where to find the list of new codes and deleted codes is an important part of work to prepare for the new coding year. This includes reviewing the ICD-10-CM Coding guidelines each and every year for any changes that may affect and how you use the codes from a rules perspective.
Specific details of the revision of these codes with detailed explanation, when needed, will help the learner to understand how these changes affect their use of codes. Anatomy and physiology changes will also be explained, as appropriate.
This knowledge will allow the attendee to better understand use of codes, allow attendees better educate their providers on the change and will keep their diagnosis coding compliant after October 1, 2019.
Join medical coding expert Jill Young in this in-depth training webinar to find out what has changed for 2020—and which of these changes will most affect your practice.
