Aaron Little - CPA has over 15 years of experience with BKD, LLP, and oversees the operations of BKD Health Care Billing Services, a special services team that manages more than $70 million in client revenues through billing outsourcing and recovery services for home care, hospice, and senior living organizations.  

A CPA and leading national home care and hospice consultant, he routinely performs revenue and accounts receivable recovery services, billing operations assessments, client training and other billing services, and he consults with clients on billing and operations compliance matters, including managing audits required by the Office of Inspector General.  Aaron also performs general financial and operational consulting services for home care and hospice organizations, including operations reviews, productivity assessments, benchmarking, and Medicare cost report preparation.

Nationally recognized for his expertise in home care and hospice billing and operations, Aaron serves on the Home Care & Hospice Financial Managers Association (HHFMA) Workgroup and is an active member of its committee on industry accounts receivable and revenue cycle matters.  He also routinely presents seminars for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC), HHFMA, and numerous other regional and state industry organizations.  

Aaron is a contributing author to BKD’s Health Care News, NAHC’s CARING Magazine, HomeCare Innovations, HHFMA’s Update, and is routinely quoted in the national home care periodicals published by Eli Research, Inc. (Eli) and Decision Health.  

Aaron has also served on the HHFMA home health prospective payment system reform committee and Missouri Alliance for Home Care’s administrative services resource committee.  He currently serves on the editorial advisory board of Eli’s Home Health ICD-9 Alert and the product advisory board for HealthMEDX, Inc., a national software solutions provider for home care, hospice, and senior living organizations.

Aaron’s professional affiliations include the HHFMA, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He joined BKD in 1997 after graduating summa cum laude from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, with a bachelors of science degree in business administration.
